However, the departure of Asuka, the club's vice president and spiritual pillar, shakes everyone, and Kumiko, a fellow euphonium player, uncovers her hidden circumstances and true feelings. This re-edited theatrical version of the TV anime Sound! Euphonium 2 adding new scenes centered on the relationship between Asuka and Kumiko for a more compelling narrative. While the storylines of various club members are somewhat limited, the film's focus on the inner conflicts of Asuka and Kumiko enhances the film's cinematic quality. The overwhelming performance on the national stage and the song Asuka leaves for Kumiko exemplify the pinnacle of musical animation, deeply conveying the power and emotion of music to audiences.
