Your Letter

The 26th Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF2024) has selected the Korean animated feature film ‘Your Letter’ as its opening film. Based on the WEBTOON Series of the same title by author Cho Hyeon A, ‘Your Letter’ tells the story of "So-ri," who transfers to a rural school after being subjected to group bullying while trying to help a friend who was being ostracized. There, she discovers a letter from "Ho-yeon," who once sat in the same seat as her. The feature-length animation was produced by Studio N & Studio LICO, distribution by Lotte Entertainment and directed by Korean director Kim Yong Hwan.
 
‘Your Letter’ has been reborn as a work that stimulates new cinematic imagination, with its transparent and delicate artwork, charming characters, and refreshing music all coming together. Adding to the anticipation, LEE SUHYUN of AKMU has voiced the main character "So-ri," heightening expectations for the heartfelt emotions that the animation is set to convey.
As the first Korean feature animation to open BIAF2024, ‘Your Letter’ will have its Asian premiere at the opening ceremony on October 25. BIAF2024 runs from October 25 to 29. (www.biaf.or.kr)
