To eliminate illegal fugitives, the government implements a bounty hunter system. A girl, Ubu becomes a hunter under the coercion of ‘Mr. Elegance,’ a figure tied to her painful childhood. Director Yasuomi Umetsu inherits the brutality and sensuality of his works Kite and Mezzo Forte, adding Shaft’s unique experimental direction to create original energy.
